About Annette….
I was raised in St.Catharines, ON, in a family lead by amazing parents, Paul and Genevieve Nohara. At the age of 10, I had stood alongside my mother, who was a professional seamstress and interior decorator, and began my first job, sewing handmade draperies for their custom drapery business.
Helping my mother unroll bolts of fabric for flaws, watching her and my father recommend fabrics and styles and decorum to clients, was ordinary in my home for 17 years. I learned to sew and loved fashion, and unknowingly, began decorating and home staging my own room, and homes, every time I rearranged the furniture, which was quite a regular occurrence and still is.
Many friends and family have told me that I should be doing it for a living and should have my own website to help others, where decorating doesn’t come naturally. I love family and I love homes, and everything that makes them ‘feel like home’, from fresh baking in the oven to filling my children’s tummies with them, and I believe that our environment, especially at home where we spend the most time and have control over what it looks like, can be a beautiful space and a place of welcoming and retreat, regardless of size or budget, After all,  everyone deserves ‘beautiful’!
I have spent most of my adult life in the Law Enforcement Profession, and have gained much experience with respect to client service and satisfaction.
While Home Staging is not a regulated industry, I have received Certification via Canadian Staging Professionals, whom, in my opinion, is the top Staging Educator in the industry, and is the only one that is endorsed by the Real Estate Staging Association.
So, I have finally stopped telling myself all of the reasons why I shouldn’t or couldn’t go into business, and taken the plunge. Your confidence in my work, your trust in me and your desire for a stager with a strict work ethic and elegant designs accentuates the best attributes of your home, will bring you to love your home again. If your intention is to sell, the staging will bring the maximum market appeal to the greatest number of buyers. The true question is, can you afford not to stage? Many stagers and designers have emerged into the real estate market because this service is needed and does provide results. Statistics show that staged homes bring more offers, sell faster and their selling prices are generally higher, more than compensating for any staging costs incurred. So, you have everything to gain.
I am extremely motivated and energetic, positive and sincere. I am also a realtor, and my secondary goal is to help my clients by providing them with one real estate service destination to obtain all of the top and current services in the industry. As a stager /designer, I am able to provide immediate services to my clients so that their properties may be listed and sold quickly.
